The Reborn Girl Is Dauntless but Overly Cautious

In my relentless pursuit of safety, I considered the chilling possibility of an enraged intruder resorting to arson if they couldn't penetrate my sanctuary. To mitigate this risk, I engaged three more renovation firms to equip my ceiling with sophisticated fire suppression systems. These would activate at the first sign of fire, yet I was acutely aware that they might not suffice in the face of a full-blown inferno.

Thus, I reached out to the local fire department to ensure the removal of all potentially hazardous materials from my building. I didn't stop there; I also acquired five top-of-the-line fire extinguishers, three advanced gas masks, and an emergency escape ladder for good measure.

But did this comprehensive setup put my mind at ease? Not in the slightest. The scale of my preparations would surely not go unnoticed by those with malicious intent skulking in the shadows.

To obscure their view and thwart any potential interference, I strategically placed caution tape and concealing curtains around my front door prior to the renovations. Even if they became aware of my meticulous preparations, they'd be rendered helpless to act.

Yet, a nagging concern lingered. Aware of my smoke detectors and fire extinguishers, my adversaries might sabotage these devices. In a worst-case scenario, a false alarm could trigger a flood, potentially trapping and drowning me if they blockaded the exits.

Call it overcautious, but when it comes to survival, sometimes one must entertain the unthinkable.

Consequently, I procured twenty oxygen tanks, ensuring that even in the dire event of my apartment being submerged, I could rely on these tanks to survive for up to forty-eight hours.
