I invested in RF signal detectors, infrared detectors, lens detectors, and thermal imaging cameras to search for any concealed cameras or unauthorized entrants.

I went further, adding surveillance cameras at the entrance.

However, I was acutely aware of the potential for surveillance tampering.

To mitigate the risk of any worker, potentially a murderer in disguise, duping me with counterfeit footage, I engaged nine different security firms, echoing my approach with the renovation companies.

Six meticulously hidden cameras were installed at my entryway, their exact locations known only to myself and three trusted individuals.

I segmented the nine security firms into three groups, each tasked with installing part of the surveillance system.

Each company was responsible for installation, with the other two in a supervisory role. Prior to commencing their work, I scrutinized each worker's face, alert to the possibility of a renovation worker attempting to infiltrate.

I personally specified where each camera was to be placed and supervised the installation process before dismissing the workers and summoning the next firm.

To ensure no information was shared between groups, I secluded myself to monitor the subsequent installations via the newly installed surveillance system.

Once all nine firms had installed the six cameras, there were no longer any blind spots at my entrance.

But did this extensive surveillance network suffice to assuage my fears?
