Zoe decided to invite Grace over for dinner at the dorm.

"Where did you get all this lettuce?" Grace, a salad enthusiast, nearly glowed green with excitement upon seeing the bounty.

"It's from Eli."

"Ha, is his superpower growing lettuce? I didn't expect someone from Class A to have such an offbeat ability!"

"Not sure, but it's probably not just lettuce."

Grace suggested Zoe keep in touch with Eli, considering his homegrown veggies were fresher than anything from the store.

"Imagine having lettuce, bok choy, cabbage, crown daisy, potatoes, corn, broccoli..."

"And if he could just grow some beef rolls, that would be perfect!"

They shared a knowing look and burst into laughter at the thought.

Grace left stuffed, leaning on Zoe for support back to her room.

As evening fell, the campus buzzed with students eagerly practicing their superpowers.

The hallways were deserted as Zoe pondered her thoughts, walking back to her room.

Rounding the stairwell, Zoe felt a sudden tug and found herself in a bizarre, empty space.

Initially, she suspected Blake was up to his old tricks, but the solitude quickly dispelled that notion.

Trapped in an invisible box, Zoe's smartwatch was rendered useless, unable to send messages.

After enduring for five hours, sleep took over.

Waking up in Blake's room, Zoe found him watching over her, his eyes red from worry.

"What happened? How did I end up here?"

"Zoe, you vanished for a whole day and night. I was so worried."

Blake's cheeks brushed against Zoe's palm, his stubble slightly prickling her skin, hinting at his sleepless vigil.

Zoe recounted her mysterious ordeal after seeing Grace off, her story a jumble of confusion and concern.

Blake's expression darkened upon hearing about the strange space.

"How did you find me?"

"Simple, I just had to fall backward, and you landed on my bed."

Of course, she had forgotten about their unique connection.

"Then why didn't you find me sooner?"

Zoe's indignation was a sign of her pampered status.

Blake, puzzled, reminded her of her own rule against feigning falls for hugs.

"You're such a good listener," Zoe teased, patting his head. "But I'm starving after being trapped for so long!"

Blake prepared a salad, claiming it was best after Zoe's ordeal, despite his room being filled with Eli's lettuce gifts, making his reasoning less than convincing.
