Agent Wade barged into the morgue, his suspicions piqued when he heard his subordinates had allowed entry without his permission. He feared the murderer might use the delivery of a corpse as a cover to infiltrate the police force.

"You can't just barge in here, Agent Wade! The doctor is conducting an autopsy!" Toni tried to stop him, her anxiety palpable.

Her urgency only fueled Wade's suspicions.

"I'm just going to take a look to ensure the murderer hasn't slipped in. It's for your safety too, move aside!"

Pushing past Toni, he arrived at the morgue door, peering through the glass to observe everyone inside. He focused on Florence, clad in a white protective suit, and David assisting her, then glanced at the corpse, confirming there were no others present.

Following him, Toni cautiously said, "See, I told you, the doctor is performing an autopsy."

Wade surveyed the area, choosing not to enter the morgue. The smell of death clinging to his clothes would make him nauseous, so he preferred to observe from behind the glass.

"Scalpel," Florence extended her hand to David, preparing to make an incision, startling him.

"Fl... Florence..."

"We have to make it convincing to fool Agent Wade."

"But..."

"Just do as I say."

"Okay..." David handed her the scalpel, watching her cut open Farrell's abdomen. Thankfully, Farrell's back was to Wade, and a mask covered half of his face, preventing any slip-ups.

"You're actually cutting into his stomach."

"Don't worry, he has regenerative abilities. As long as we avoid the heart, it's fine, right, Farrell?"

The "corpse" on the table frowned. "How long do we have to keep this up?"

"Until he leaves."

"Just don't mess up the arrangement of my organs."

"Don't worry, I'm very skilled."

Their conversation inside was inaudible from the outside, and David's position blocked Wade from seeing Farrell's face. All Wade saw was a body being autopsied.

"Farrell, promise me something," Florence said while handling his intestines.

"What is it?"
