I insisted it was all for a more immersive reading experience, but Sarah remained skeptical, her trust in me evident despite her reservations.

She critiqued the story for its lack of connection to my initial claim of fearing sheep and pointed out the unusual delay in reporting my father's disappearance, suggesting a deeper, unspoken turmoil.

Acknowledging her insights, I hinted at a more profound layer yet to be unveiled.
