Two hours later, Julie reappeared on the surveillance feed, significantly weakened and seething with anger.

"Why the hell do you have so many exorcism tools in your house?!"

Gone was the menacing aura typical of a ghost; instead, Julie seemed utterly frustrated, stomping around in the camera's view.

Then, she paused, staring intently at the front door as if a new idea had struck her, a smug smile creeping across her face.

"You may have your exorcism tools, but there's one place you surely haven't covered..."

She muttered under her breath.

"This is my last chance; I must take you with me!"

Watching the feed, I hadn't fully grasped Julie's words when suddenly, the talisman on my forehead disintegrated into ashes, accompanied by a piercing scream.

"You bastard, how do you have exorcism tools all over you?!"

With a whoosh, the chilling presence vanished.

I tried the emergency number again; the call went through this time.

Wiping the ash from my forehead, I stood encased in a multitude of exorcism tools, from head to toe, surrounded by layers of crucifixes, bottles of holy water, garlic, and various amulets clinking together.
