The ghostly voice of Julie, eerie and chilling, drifted closer.

"Wendy, open up, it's all clear now. Let's go to the police together."

"Open the door! Wendy, I've taken care of everything; it's just you now. Don't be afraid."

"Wendy, you should trust me, I won't harm you."

Julie's spectral pleas continued as I tried the satellite phone again to no avail. It seemed that resolving the situation with Julie was my only ticket out. But then again, why would I want to leave?

With enough supplies to last a long while in my apartment, I decided to take it easy.

I settled back on my mattress, picked a favorite variety show, and watched with interest, Julie's ghostly wails serving as a bizarre backdrop.

After some time, Julie's voice grew bitterly resentful.

"Wendy, I genuinely cherished our friendship, but you've treated me like this. I have no choice but to force my way in!"

The door began to emit a scraping sound, as if nails were clawing at it, giving me goosebumps. The exorcism tools on the door started to darken.

I put aside my show, grabbed a box of exorcism tools, and sat by the door.

As Julie struggled to overcome one exorcism tool, I quickly replaced it with two more.

We were at a stalemate for an hour, Julie's dark aura diminishing significantly while I still had boxes of exorcism tools to spare.

Julie's voice weakened.

"Hmph, you think these exorcism tools can stop me? You think I can only enter through the front door? Let me tell you, any spot in this apartment without a talisman is an entry point for me. Wendy, I'm coming for you."

With that, Julie vanished from the surveillance feed.

Simultaneously, the talismans on the window began to emit black smoke, followed by a scream, and then the exorcism tools on the bathroom mirror did the same.

Standing in the room, I watched as black smoke sporadically appeared from various corners.
