After their intense taijutsu sparring session, Toneri was impressed by Might Guy's skill and potential. Though Guy currently lacked strength, his dedication to hard work was second to none. He clearly took his training extremely seriously.

"Your talent for taijutsu is quite impressive," Toneri commented. "With more refinement, you can become a powerful shinobi specialist."

Guy rubbed the back of his head, pleased at the praise from someone of Toneri's caliber. "You really think so? I vow to train even harder then!"

Toneri recalled Guy's reputation in the future as a formidable taijutsu master. Perhaps their crossing of paths now was no coincidence. Taking Guy under his wing could be beneficial and may prevent him from the failures in life that originally earned him the eternal genin moniker.

"Say, would you be interested in undertaking some missions together?" Toneri proposed. "Our skill sets complement each other nicely. And I can provide additional taijutsu guidance in the field."

"Yosh!" Guy shouted, pumping his fist. "That sounds wonderful! Thank you for this opportunity, Toneri!" The Blue Beast bowed respectfully, stoked at the proposition.

And so Toneri and Guy began regularly teaming up for various missions over the next couple months. Under Toneri's leadership and training, Guy's capabilities sharpened dramatically in that short period. By working together, the two shinobi even managed to accomplish several A and B-rank quests normally reserved for more senior ninja.

"At this rate, you'll surpass your current classmates before long," Toneri appraised one day.

Guy smiled widely at the acknowledgment of his improvement. With Toneri's example guiding him, he felt more motivated than ever to perfect his craft and live up to the standards of a splendid Leaf shinobi. Their fruitful partnership pushed them both to greater heights.
