To my horror, the toilet held more than just waste; there were unidentifiable remnants mixed with the water, creating a ghastly sight. Ethan's insistence on not flushing now made a chilling sense. "Let me handle this," he said, suggesting a bizarre and unsettling use of leftover water for flushing, "It's more efficient this way."

Frozen with fear, I felt my strength drain away, nearly collapsing. Ethan, with a look of disgust yet obligation, caught me. The thought of his hands, capable of such brutality, sent shivers down my spine. I tried to speak but was overcome by terror, my only response to push him away desperately.

The mix of disinfectant and a metallic scent overwhelmed me, inducing an uncontrollable reaction. Ethan watched with a mocking detachment. Just as I was gasping for air, he raised his hand towards me. In that moment, my mind raced with the thought of my impending doom, recalling the ominous warning of being nailed to death.

As consciousness slipped away, a sudden and unexpected aroma filled my senses. Confusion set in as I slowly regained awareness. Surprisingly, I was still alive, contrary to my grim expectations. Disoriented and bewildered, I struggled to comprehend my survival, unsure whether to feel relief or continued dread.
