A year ago, on a whim, I decided to tell my wife a story. Crafted with peculiar twists and unsettlingly vivid details, it was meant to be an intriguing tale. However, the narrative proved too intense, leaving her terrified to her core.
In hindsight, my regret was profound. Despite my repeated assurances that the story was pure fiction, the damage was done. Trust, once the foundation of our relationship, had crumbled, replaced by a gaze filled with fear whenever she looked at me.
That very night, in a state of panic, she locked herself in the bathroom and called the police. The consequences of my storytelling were more severe than I could have ever anticipated, leading to my incarceration.
