In the second year at the Superpowers Academy, my ability underwent a significant evolution, advancing from the basic to the intermediate level. It seemed that the simpler the power, the easier it was to evolve, making me the first in Class A to achieve such a milestone. Now, I could temporarily lend my strength to Blake. When we held hands, I could amplify his abilities, allowing him to wield multiple powers at once and conjure massive storms of lightning, ice, and tornadoes. With this newfound prowess, no one dared underestimate me anymore. Together, Blake and I formed an invincible S+ level duo that instilled fear across the academy.
I had made numerous friends, and surprisingly, even Felicia and I managed to exchange a few words from time to time. But the interactions I cherished the most were with Blake, Eli, and Grace.
One sunny afternoon, I found myself lounging on the academy's vast green lawns with Blake and Grace. Eli was supposed to join us but was running late as usual.
"Blake, remember when we first tried combining our powers? That was quite a spectacle," I chuckled, reminiscing about the early days of our collaboration.
Blake grinned, "How could I forget? We nearly blew up the training grounds. Good times."
Grace, ever the silent observer, chimed in through our private telepathic link, her ability to 'whisper' from afar having also reached the intermediate level. "You two are practically legends now. I bet the underclassmen tell stories about that day."
Just then, Eli rushed towards us, panting. "Sorry, I'm late! You wouldn't believe what happened in the lab today."
Blake raised an eyebrow, "Let me guess, another one of your experiments went awry?"
Eli nodded enthusiastically, "Yeah, but this time I managed to contain it! No explosions, I promise."
We all shared a laugh, the comfort of our friendship enveloping us like a warm blanket.
As the day wore on, we discussed our plans and dreams. "With our powers growing, there's so much more we can achieve," I mused, gazing up at the cloudless sky.
Blake squeezed my hand gently, a silent vow of support and camaraderie. "Together, there's nothing we can't face."
Grace's voice echoed in our minds, her tone playful yet sincere, "Just make sure you save some adventures for the rest of us."
Eli, ever the optimist, added, "And when we graduate, we'll take on the galaxy. They won't know what hit them!"
Our laughter rang out, a testament to the unbreakable bonds we'd forged. In that moment, I knew that no matter where our paths might lead, the memories we'd created at the Superpowers Academy would forever unite us.
As the sun began to set, casting long shadows across the grounds, I felt a profound sense of gratitude for the friendships that had blossomed in this extraordinary place. Together with Blake, Eli, and Grace, I was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, knowing that our combined strength was a force to be reckoned with.
