In the days that followed, Kaito's life became an unsettling blend of paranoia and relentless research. The bizarre encounter with the drone ghost had thrust him into a world shrouded in enigma, a world he never knew existed. Tokyo's skyline, once a beacon of progress and safety, now loomed over him like a facade concealing darker secrets.

Driven by a need to understand the nature of his ghostly encounters, Kaito turned to the internet. He scoured forums, articles, and blogs, weaving through tales of the supernatural intertwined with technology. Amidst the plausible theories, a multitude of wild conspiracy theories spiraled out of control. During his search, he came across Aiko, a self-proclaimed expert on paranormal events.

They arranged to meet at a quaint café nestled in the city's labyrinthine streets. Aiko, a woman in her late twenties, exuded a confident eccentricity. Her knowing smile greeted Kaito as he walked in. "You're not the only one," she said, her gaze assessing his anxious demeanor. "This city harbors more secrets than you can imagine. Ghosts, spirits, entities – they're becoming increasingly active."

Kaito shared his experiences, noticing Aiko's attention intensify at the mention of the AI smartphone. "You've encountered something rare," she mused. "Ghosts are typically unconscious, but what you describe seems more sentient." Aiko mentioned, "It is said that people who encounter supernatural events will become unlucky, and the chance of continuing to encounter supernatural events will increase." Kaito had responded, "It's been more terrifying than thrilling, to be honest."

"If it's a true paranormal event, I might have friends who can help you," Aiko offered. "Now, you have an insight into the supernatural world!"

Kaito sighed, "It's a world full of danger. I'm not sure I wanted this insight."

As they parted ways, Aiko's concern for Kaito was evident. "If you encounter anything else, let me know immediately," she urged.

As Kaito pondered her words, his phone buzzed with a message from Hiroshi, his friend, expressing concern over Kaito's recent withdrawn behavior. Hiroshi, a skeptic, had always dismissed Kaito's ghostly encounters as stress-induced illusions. Despite their differing views, Hiroshi's message was a poignant reminder of the importance of human connections in a world increasingly influenced by technology and unseen forces.

Later, Kaito visited Hiroshi at his outdoor shop. Amidst the clutter of gadgets and components, the shop felt like a sanctuary from the chaotic world outside. "You're chasing shadows, my friend," Hiroshi remarked, handing Kaito a cup of tea. "Tokyo is full of mysteries, but ghosts? That's stretching it."

Kaito smiled wryly. "Maybe you're right, but I need to understand what's happening. That drone was unnatural." He recalled how his smartphone, capable of automatic recording, had glitched at the crucial moment.

Hiroshi examined the phone, his expertise in technology evident. "It's definitely unique. Could be custom software. But be careful, Kaito. Don't get too caught up in this."

During Hiroshi's examination, the phone suddenly started transmitting a strange signal, interfering with all the electronic devices in the shop. Lights flickered, screens glitched, and equipment malfunctioned. Hiroshi, concerned for their safety, advised Kaito to get rid of the phone. Kaito agreed.

That night, Kaito's research took a disturbing turn. He uncovered a pattern linking recent mysterious deaths in Tokyo to technological anomalies, strikingly similar to his own experience. The realization that he might be entangled in something far more perilous sent chills down his spine.

Sitting in the dim light of his apartment, surrounded by notes and clippings, Kaito stared at the recent missing person reports. The air was heavy with the weight of his discoveries and the haunting uncertainty of the supernatural world.
